Some people are confused as to why the occupation of Palestine in particular is so important as opposed to other forms of oppression that exists on earth.

Although all forms of oppression are important to resist, there are 5 reasons that make the violent occupation of Palestine different from the rest.

 
1)The global economic effects

Billions of American tax dollars are collected by the IRS and directly given to the occupation state of Israel every single year. As a result, the economic state and wellbeing of American taxpayers suffers tremendously.

American citizens plead for their government to provide affordable health care, affordable housing, student loan forgiveness, maternity leave, better infrastructure etc.

Americans do not enjoy free health care while Israelis do. Some American women even have to return to work after 2 weeks of giving birth because they can't afford to lose their jobs!

The needs of the American taxpayers remain ignored by their government representatives year after year, but the IRS has never relented in the harsh collection of taxes from the American countrymen and women.  

Without the Israeli parasitic extraction of funds from the American economy, American citizens would have a much better chance to live healthier holistic lives.  

2) The visualization of colonization

Colonialism is a concept we’ve all learned about at school. The occupation of Palestine is the depiction of typical colonization up close!

Thanks to social media we are seeing what the process of colonization looks like in real time with videos and images.

For the first time ever, global citizens are all witnessing what war crimes and the oppression of an apartheid state actually looks like. We all share the same sadness and pain from watching what our Palestinian brothers and sisters are experiencing.

We are all witnessing the bold and vulgar Israeli military dehumanize and murder innocent Palestinian men, women, and children.

We've all witnessed the senseless destruction of civilization and peace being openly paraded all over social media while the enforcement of international law is not being enforced by the United Nations and the International Court of Justice.

Massive protests are simultaneously occurring in cities all over the world because citizens of every country are angry about the violence that the United States and Israel are inflicting on the Palestinian people.

3) The shameless violation of International Law

The number of video footage, victim testimonies, images, and journalist reports that confirm the bombings of mosques, hospitals, schools, and refugee camps clearly prove that the Israeli military are committing war crimes.

Over 20,000 children and civilian men and women were murdered between the dates of October 7, 2023 and December 25, 2023 alone.

The Israeli military continues to boldly and mercilessly dehumanize innocent human beings in the sight of the entire world.

The open violation of international law sends a big message that laws can be broken without consequence. This isn't a message that we can turn a blind eye to.  

In the comments and discussion threads on social media, people are voicing their concerns about the possibility of war crime atrocities happening in Canada, the United States, and all over the world if they can happen in Palestine without consequence.    

4) Abominable media lies about the events that are happening in Palestine. 

All over the planet people are expressing their disgust with the abominable lies and propaganda coming from mainstream media.

Abominable comes from the word abomination. An abomination is a thing that causes disgust or hatred. The propaganda lies about the actions of the Palestinian resistance are in fact abominable.

The reports on major news stations like CNN have claimed that the Palestinian resistance were guilty of beheading babies, baking babies, and raping women. These claims have later been confirmed as lies.

Even during the reporting of such events by Joe Biden, he was unable to provide actual evidence. Biden wasn't even able to confirm that he saw one picture or video of a single beheaded baby.

The president of the United States himself retracted the statements he made accusing the Palestinian resistance of such atrocities.

SHAME.

5) God’s chosen people.  

The Israeli occupiers of Palestine actually claim they are justified to occupy that region because they are "God’s chosen people". But their actions obviously contradict godly qualities like kindness and justice.

Within the center of this entire conflict between Israel and Palestine resides spiritual diseases of greed and arrogance.

It is interesting that greed (covetousness) and arrogance are among the main spiritual diseases that God warns us about in the Holy Qur’an.  

The fact that some people actually hold delusional beliefs that justify defacing and molesting God's creations through murder and destruction is a sign that what Allah (God) says about the Evil One is true.

In surah 4 The Women Allah says:

119. Satan said: “I will mislead them (mankind) and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle and to deface the (fair) nature created by God.” Whoever forsaking God takes Satan for a friend has of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.  

The social media comments from people around the entire world have changed from using language like oppression and injustice to using words like evil and demonic to describe the dehumanizing actions of the Israeli regime.  

The USA and Israeli media lies, spilling of innocent blood, and rejection of the rights of the Palestinian people resemble the mischief makers who trespass against truth and reason that Allah describes in Qur’an.  

In surah 7 The Heights, Allah says:  

33. Say: The things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning partners to God for which he has given no authority; and saying things about God of which you have no knowledge.  

In the Holy Qur’an Allah actually speaks to those who claim to be God’s chosen people. In surah 2, The Cow, Allah says:  

94. Say: If the abode of the Hereafter with Allah is specially for you to the exclusion of the people, then invoke death if you are truthful.  

95. And they will never invoke it on account of what their hands have done, and Allah knows the wrongdoers.  

96. And you will certainly find them the greediest of men for life, (greedier) even than those who set up gods (with God). One of them loves to be granted a life of a thousand years, and his being granted a long life will in no way remove him further off from the chastisement. And Allah is Seer of what they do.  

In the Holy Qur’an Allah gives plenty of ayats explaining how the previous scriptures were changed by some among the Children of Israel.  

In surah 2 Allah says:  

79. Woe! to those who write the Book with their hands then say, This is from Allah; so that they may take from it a small price. So woe! to them for what their hands write and woe! to them for what they earn.

80. And they say: Fire will not touch us but for a few days. Say: Have you received a promise from Allah? Then Allah will not fail to perform His promise. Or do you speak against Allah what you don’t know?  

83. And when We made a covenant with the Children of Israel. You shall serve none but Allah. And do good to (your) parents, and to the near of kin and to orphans and the needy, and speak good (words) to (all) men, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate. Then you turned back except a few of you, and you were averse to the Message.  

84. And when We made a covenant with you: You shall not shed your blood, nor turn your people out of your cities; then you promised and you bore witness.  

85. Yet you it is who would slay your people and turn a party from among you out of their homes, backing each other up against them unlawfully and exceeding the limits. And if they should come to you as captives you would ransom them, whereas their turning out itself was unlawful for you. Do you then believe in a part of the Book and disbelieve in the other? What then is the reward of such among you as do this but disgrace in the life of this world, and on the day of Resurrection they shall be sent back to the most grievous chastisement. And Allah is not heedless of what you do.  

87. And We indeed gave Moses the Book and We sent messengers after him one after another; and We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear arguments and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Is it then that whenever there came to you a messenger with what your souls desired not, you were arrogant? And some of you gave the lie to others you would slay.  

88. And when they say: Our hearts are repositories (of truth). Nay, Allah has cursed them on account of their unbelief, so little it is that they believe.  

89. And when there came to them a Book from Allah verifying that which they have, and aforetime they used to pray for victory against those who disbelieved -- but when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it; so Allah's curse is on the disbelievers.  

90. Evil is that for which they sell their souls -- that they should deny that which Allah has revealed, out of envy that Allah should send down of His grace on whomsoever of His servants He pleases; so they incur wrath upon wrath. And there is an abasing chastisement for the disbelievers.  

91. And when it is said to them, Believe in that which Allah has revealed, they say: We believe in that which was revealed to us. And they deny what is besides that, while it is the Truth verifying that which they have. Say: Why then did you kill Allah's prophets before (this) if you were believers?  

92. And Moses indeed came to you with clear arguments, then you took the calf (for a God) in his absence and you were wrongdoers.  

93. And when We made a covenant with you and raised the mountain above you: Take hold of that which We have given you with firmness and obey. They said: We hear and disobey. And they were made to imbibe (the love of) the calf into their hearts on account of their disbelief. Say: Evil is that which your faith bids you if you are believers.  

101. And when there came to them a messenger from Allah verifying that which they have, a party of those who were given the Book threw the Book of Allah behind their backs as if they knew nothing.

102. And they follow what the devils fabricated against the kingdom of Solomon.

So Allah equates disbelief with evil. And over the course of 75 years the world has realized just how evil humans can be when they sell their souls for things like money, land, and control over other people.  

In surah 9 Repentance, Allah tells us about the fear inside of the hearts of people like Zionist Israelis :  

109. Which then is best? - He that lays his foundation on piety to Allah and His Good Pleasure? or he that lays his foundation on an undermined sand-cliff ready to crumble to pieces? And it does crumble to pieces with him, into the fire of Hell. And Allah guides not people that do wrong.  

110. The foundation of those who so build is never free from suspicion and shakiness in their hearts, until their hearts are cut to pieces. And Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.  

Allah informs us that these kinds of people are actually far far astray from the right path.

In a way, through Palestine, we are all being tested to see who is among the righteous. Allah says in Qur’an that life on earth is to separate the righteous and the mischief makers, to see who  among us is true and word and deed based on our actions.

Each one of us should chose the side of the righteous and defend the oppressed.
